More research is needed

Andrew Delgado and Dogu Guclu have explored how the carbon footprint of such businesses can be valued and integrated into investment assessments. Their work provides practical tools for investors and venture capitalists to make more responsible decisions. We support their efforts for a more sustainable future and honor them with this year's scholarship. “- Qred's Jury
Jesper Larsson & Camilla Hietanen
2022 - With the thesis: 'How can risk factors for burnout be managed within the entrepreneurial sector?

Motivation
This year's grant from Qred is awarded to an assignment that touches on a topic that we at Qred are serious about, namely burnout. It is common for contractors to undertake a high workload, and the risk of burnout is particularly high among this group of people. The paper maps out the most effective coping mechanisms for burnout and how these can be avoided without affecting the progress of new innovation. The thesis presents qualitative interviews with both successful entrepreneurs and people with fatigue syndrome. We see this as an educational task that is significant for the well-being of entrepreneurs in the industry. That's why we proudly award this year's scholarship to Jesper Larsson and Camilla Hietanen. “- Qred's Jury

Motivation
“This year's grant from Qred is awarded to a thesis that touches on a very relevant topic within a very significant industry. With her sharp challenge of the construction industry's climate impact, she raises a research question that ignites our passion even more for the subject. Just like Qred, the assignment writer understands the importance of the environment and doesn't settle for the status quo. She questions, challenges and concretizes the ways in which reuse and recycling are unsustainable. These are exactly the kinds of questions that the scholarship was established to answer. With this enthusiasm and her important questions, we proudly award this year's scholarship to Johanna Lagerlund.”
